The Twenty Twenty Collection exhibition

British Art Show 9 Inspired Plant Fete
Local artist Charlotte Dunn is developing a British Art Show 9 inspired project called ‘Plant Fete’ which is a community art project supported by Creative Black Country as part of Offsite 9 community art programme.
Through her creative project Charlotte will recreate the idea of the floral fete within West Park, highlighting the reparative history element of BAS9 as well as the tactics of togetherness through the actions of a plant swap. Part of the fete will be a stand where she will exhibit community contributions of images, drawings, paintings and photos of plants. If you would like to submit your student’s West Park inspired flora/fauna artwork entries are now open until 13th February. More information can be found here.

Each CEP is formed of partners who are activists in their local area who advocate for arts, culture and creativity in education, to ensure that every child and young person has a positive and empowering creative learning journey and the opportunity to create, participate, produce and engage with cultural education.

Dying Matters (a campaign run by Hospice UK) knows that that conversations start in communities. The difficult bit is getting a conversation started and that’s why Dying Matters has set up a Community Grants programme, supported by Dignity Funerals, looking for new and creative ways to talk about dying.
The grants are aimed at community-led arts and culture projects, with a focus on equality and inclusion, and which approach the subject of dying in an innovative or creative way.
