The Compact has a strong level of support and engagement from a diverse range of partners. Representation is critical to this work and the Compact will continue to evolve its membership to ensure strategic leadership and inclusivity.

The Compact has established a governance structure which includes a main Board and three working sub-groups.

The Compact is currently chaired by Geoff Henderson, Co-Director of Urban Hax CIC.

The Compact secretariat is provided by One Walsall

Marketing & Communications Subgroup –Overseeing the communication channels and opportunities to promote the Compact’s work.

Data & Mapping Subgroup – Overseeing data and the mapping of cultural assets including physical buildings, capabilities and equipment.

Creatives Subgroup – A strong and vibrant group of local creative and cultural organisations working in the Borough. Creating for the benefit of Walsall’s residents and visitors.

The main Board has oversight of the Compact’s activities.
