Our Creative Health Leads in Systems Programme, supported by Arts Council England and The Baring Foundation, is still open for applications from health and care organisations across England to enable them to embed creative health into prevention, population health, clinical pathways, and neighbourhood models of care. Part-funded Creative Health Lead posts will help systems improve wellbeing, reduce health inequalities, and deliver more person-centred care.
Over the next three years, we anticipate that the programme will support 25–30 Creative Health Lead roles, with initial funding available for five posts. The offer includes a two-year salary subsidy (NHS Band 7 level or equivalent), a structured learning and development programme, evaluation and national dissemination of learning, and ongoing support from the NCCH.
Applications are still open:
-
Round 1 deadline: 30 January 2026
-
Round 2 deadline: 6 March 2026
Expressions of interest are welcome at any time.
You can watch the recording of the programme information session held on 13 January 2026, and access a set of FAQs designed to support organisations in assessing suitability and planning applications.
Full programme details, application materials and supporting resources are available here.
